Search Consultancy are working exclusively with a Manufacturing Business in Halesowen. The Business is experiencing fantastic growth and are delivering on impressive financial performance year on year.

Due to a change in structure in Finance they are seeking a Financial Controller who will be responsible for the overall management, accounting and reporting. This could also lead to a Board position in the future.

The Role

Responsibilities

  • Accounting & reporting control
  • Responsibility for Payroll, AP and AR and VAT
  • Experience gained in tax matters relating to European trading group a strong preference
  • Maintain working relationships with the Groups external tax & advisors
  • Accurate and concise reporting to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates excellent commercial awareness.
  • Cash / working capital control.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar level role.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA OR ACCA OR CIMA)
  • Experience gained in a fast paced Manufacturing Business.
  • Advanced Excel
