With shifts including every weekend off and all day time hours split over Monday to Friday this is a great way for a Catering Manager to continue working with fresh food, cooked to the highest standards and still have time for family life outside work.
As a Head Chef you will get the chance to be involved in all aspects of the kitchen management; including motivating and leading the team, participating in breakfast, lunch services, ensuring food standards are kept high, ordering and supplier liaison, training and coaching more junior staff, potential for putting your ideas forward for the menu as well as ensuring all HACCP and COSHH requirements. You will also be responsible for a small vending offer to refill.
You will already be in a similar role and be a person that con take control and guide a small team to provide a really good food offering. As catering manager there will be a good percentage of your day to day activities that will be on a computer so you will need to be computer savvy.
