Payroll Administrator Lewes £25k - £28k

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Payroll team in Lewes. Working within a a practice you will be responsible for your clients payroll whether they be big or small. You will be responsible for your same clients payroll every month, so will get used to what they are looking for and how their payroll runs. The successful candidate will come from a payroll background whether that's working within industry or practice.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Send BACS payments
* Day to day administration including RTI submissions and end of year reporting
* Ensure you are up to date with payroll legislation's e.g auto enrolments/PAYE/NIC
* Send BACS payments
* Liaise with third parties e.g HMRC, GMB or unions and pension providers
* Assist with setting up and on boarding new clients
* Conduct payroll reconciliations and analysis

This role is 9am - 5.15pm however the company operate a flexible working strategy so can allow early starts or later finishes as long as you are working full time hours and are in within the core hours of 10am - 4.30pm. During probation this will be an office based role however following a successful completion there will be opportunities to work a day from home with your managers discretion.
