The Sales Ledger role:
Working in a successful company's finance department, this Sales Ledger Clerk job will see you responsible for ensuring customer invoices are raised accurately and issued to customers promptly. You'll work closely with the credit controller and should be comfortable being the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.

If you'd been working at this Sheffield-based company last week, earning between £20,000 to £22,000, these are some of the tasks you'd have undertaken:
? Reviewing customer quotations on the SAP system to ensure accuracy
? Raising sales invoices for the sale or hire of goods and services provided by the company
? Reviewing documents, including employee timesheets, worksheets, service sheets, etc
? Assisting with contract negotiations and response letters

Your Sales Ledger Clerk duties will include liaising with the company Credit Controller and ensuring that documents held are accurate, updated, and sufficient for auditing purposes and general administration duties. You will be committed to excellent levels of customer service. You'll also need to be collaborative and happy to take on flexible working and training courses, meetings, and work travel as required.

Sales Ledger Clerk, description of critical skills:
? SAP exposure
? Proficiency in MS Office/Excel
? Level 3 certificate in Business Administration (not essential)
? Experience of dealing with high volumes of data input
? Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
