About this role

Position: Residence Porter & Driver
Location: Central London
Reporting to: Assistant Head Concierge/ Head Doorman
Core Hours: 4 x 12 hour shift, day - in alteration with Door person(s)/ however depending on
business needs

One of the largest and most prominent residential developers which is in great international expansion is looking for a Residence Porter and Driver for one of the most prestigious residential projects in London
It is a superbly designed private residential development, comprising over 40 apartments, and is the home to some of the most successful people worldwide. This includes a swimming pool, gymnasium,
sauna, steam, treatment rooms, games room, and private cinema.


Role Purpose

As often being the first and last contact the Residence Porter & Driver will always be at the forefront of
residents' service, giving a genuine welcome, creating a memorable engagement, and exceeding
expectations delivering the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service delivery/quality
  • Ensure complete resident satisfaction, by providing information and services that always meet
    a 5 star+ experience
  • Recognize and greet all residents in a friendly and warm manner using their names.
  • Open cars/taxi doors and assist residents, their guests, and potential customers as required
  • Assist residents if needed with light tasks, collection & delivery duties
  • Assist residents with waste collection
  • Monitor and manage all vehicles and direct them accordingly
  • Deal with any resident queries and complaints in an efficient manner making sure to deliver a positive
  • Escalate to your supervisor/manager if required.
  • Check arrival and departure reports for all visitors to anticipate and satisfy needs
  • Handle any residence and visitor enquires or contact the correct person on residents' behalf
  • Control all vehicle parking at the entrance and monitor safety around the car stacker system
  • When available and as directed, drive the residents' house car and safely deliver all residents to
    their destination or collect
  • Maintain and monitor security aspects and raise the alarm / call for assistance if required
  • To give and receive handover information at the end of shifts, to ensure effective
    communication for the benefit of residents and colleague
  • Ensure the safety of pass keys, car keys, and keys for operations
  • Carry out ad hoc reasonable requests as directed by the manager
  • Manage projects and any other reasonable duties as required

    Health and Safety/Compliance
  • Ensure you attend all H&S and fire training as directed by the Manager to be fully
    compliant with H&S and fire legal requirements
  • Report all accidents, near misses, and hazards to your manager/supervisor to ensure they are
    dealt with to prevent any injury
  • Comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
    and the company health and safety policies
  • Report any defects in the building, plant, or equipment according to procedures
  • Ensure any accidents to colleagues, residents, or visitors are reported by
    procedures


Person Specifications and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of London to assist both residents and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Professional appearance and presentation

  • Conscientious with a positive attitude
  • Ability to deliver high standards of customer service that is personalized, confident, and calm
  • Can commit to flexible working hours to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation

  • Personable, amiable, empathic, self-starter, discreet, tactful and charming, flexible and a team
    player

    Required Qualifications and Experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience in luxury community management or luxury hotel
    management, during which the candidate has demonstrated success and advancement.
  • A full, valid UK driving license and a minimum of 25 years of age due to insurance restrictions of
    the resident's house car and valet service

    Desirable
  • Previous hotel or luxury residential opening experience would be an advantage
  • Additional languages would be beneficial
  • First Aid Certificate
