Hospitality & Events Manager
An exciting position working with a dynamic team for a serviced office company as a full time, Hospitality & Events Manager . The position will work and manage their team at a rooftop café, bar & event space based in the City. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily hospitality operations to deliver an exceptional experience for all our clients & guests.
You will be responsible for facilitating, planning, organising & executing client events. A selection of events will include: summer parties, Christmas parties, dinners & networking events, just to name a few.
You will have a strong background in hospitality & event management, as well as excellent organisational & communication skills.
A selection of role responsibilities will include:
* Manage the daily operations of the hospitality department.
* Ensure that customer service standards are met and exceeded.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures for the hospitality department and events.
* Train, motivate, recruit and supervise staff.
* Develop and manage budgets.
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
* Respond to client event enquiries and create event proposals to secure bookings.
* Work with external suppliers to deliver successful events.
* Ensure that the operation is in accordance with current practice, management, and measurement of all areas of responsibility including health & safety, food safety and licensing laws.
Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 3 years experience in a hospitality management role is desirable
* Experience with P&Ls and KPI management
* Experience of managing and leading a team
* Strong service orientation and customer focus
* Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety standards
* Level 3 food safety qualification
* Working knowledge of core Microsoft applications.
* Personal licence holder desirable but not necessary.
What we offer:
This role is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday only! You hours will be regarded as flexible and you will be required to work evenings on the bar.
Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 DOE
