We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Storeman to join a high-end contract catering operation in Central London, supporting a busy and fast-paced kitchen team.

This is a key role within the operation, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, organisation of storage areas, and supporting the wider kitchen when needed. It would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in staying organised, and thrives in a physically active role.

The Role

Working closely with the kitchen and back-of-house team, you'll be responsible for managing deliveries, maintaining stock areas, and supporting daily kitchen operations.

This is a fast-paced environment, so you'll need to be proactive, flexible, and happy to roll your sleeves up when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and organising daily deliveries

• Managing and maintaining clean, organised storage areas

• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and rotated in line with food safety standards

• Supporting with stock control and inventory management

• Assisting the kitchen team when required, including washing up and basic kitchen support

• Handling heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the day

• Helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across back-of-house areas

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar Storeman, Porter, or Kitchen Assistant role is ideal

• Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting

• A strong team player who is happy to support wherever needed

• Positive attitude and willingness to get involved with the wider kitchen team

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
