Job Title: Business Development Manager
Salary: £28,000 + Commission (OTE £50,000)

I am delighted to be partnering Discovery Stone in their search for a highly motivated, sales orientated individual who wants to make a long-term career within the luxury design market.
Discovery Stone is a new stone worktops fabrication business which began operations in Summer 2023. Part of the Malcolm, Ogilvie & Co Group - the management team have a wealth of experience in various manufacturing markets which they have transferred into the stone processing industry. We have invested in top of the range stone fabrication machinery, have a dedicated 15,000ft2 site in West Pitkerro Ind. Est, and fabricated and installed multiple high quality worktops for kitchens and bathrooms across North East Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to work in new and dynamic organisation that is looking to continue to invest and expand.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Work closely with senior management and marketing team to implement new strategies to bring in new business
* Managing key accounts and liaising with clients on day to day basis
* Arranging and attending meetings
* You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and driving new business growth
* Establish a new customer base
* Providing quotations for customers
* Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
Requirements:
· Proven experience (3+ years) in sales
· Strong leadership skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
· Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance analysis tools.
