You will be expected to effectively and efficiently manage the end to end customer journey and ensure the all elements of the process are covered.

The role involves managing various types of payments from set up through to investigations and repair. You'll need to be confident talking to internal and external customers, have a high attention to detail and provide our customer with that heartfelt service, because heartfelt service forms the basis of everything we do. Here at Payment Operations we also process the payment through various systems and work tight to currency cuts offs. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent planning skills but also the ability to be flexible should the need arise. Working in the wider Payment Operations team you may need to support with other team tasks - so being adaptable and a quick learner is essential.

Responsibilities and duties:
* Deliver an accurate 'right first time' service.
* Ensure incoming and outgoing payments are processed, checked and verified accurately and efficiently within agreed service levels.
* Be insatiably curious and identify opportunities to improve systems, productivity and processes.
* Liaise with external bodies, including other financial institutions.
* Assist in the reconciliation of a number of impersonal accounts with strong attention to detail
* Create and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure these reflect current processing activities.
* Step up in the absence of the flow leader to assess capacity and delegate workload.

Location: Glasgow Hybrid
Salary: £10.98 per hour
Working week: 9-5 with hybrid working (no weekends).
