Job Description: I am currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager to join a team. As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service
- Leading and supervising a team of support workers
- Ensuring that care and support is delivered in line with individual care plans and company policies and procedures
- Undertaking assessments and reviews of individual care plans
- Supporting with staff recruitment, training, and development
- Monitoring and maintaining the health, safety, and wellbeing of clients and staff
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, carers, and external professionals
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
