**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical First Hand Nurse to join our team. As a Surgical First Hand Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons during operative procedures, ensuring optimal patient care, and maintaining a sterile surgical environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.

- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively prepare for upcoming steps in the procedure.

- Handle surgical specimens according to established protocols and assist with their timely delivery to the laboratory.

- Collaborate with other members of the surgical team, including surgeons, surgical technologists, and anaesthesia providers, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

*Requirements:*

-Bachelor's degree BA(Hons) In a relevant subject.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a theatre/scrub nurse.

-A member of the NMC council, with a valid Pin.
