About this role

CQC Home Manager - Greater Manchester - £45,000 per annum
Search Consultancy are recruiting for a CQC Home Manager (Parachute Team). Your role will be to work with and support the Tier 3.5 Operations Manager and Head of Tier 3.5 services, as well as link with and support the Regional Leads and Mental Health Specialist Practitioners. The Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the site they are based at, and this can frequently change subject to the needs and placements of the young people.
Duties of the role
* Ensure all intervention plans / MASPs and care plans are up to date and effectively shared with the MDT when amended.
* Attend all MDT / Care & Placement planning & PEP meetings in respect of the young person.
* Co-ordinating maintenance and repairs on the property, cleanliness of the homes
* Ordering of stock / food / medication, booking activities, co-ordinate health appointments for the young person and managing and oversight of budgets
* Provide weekly site updates to your Direct Line Manager
* Take personal responsibility to complete actions agreed in meetings where the organisation is tasked or enlisted to assist
* Conduct team meetings and attend regular management meetings
* Take part and schedule regular staff supervisions and performance review meetings
* Provide any additional support that may be required in line with the needs of the organisation, where this is completed within your core hours
Requirements
* Experience of working in a similar role or of being a Registered Manager or working in the social care sector
* Have previous experience of auditing documentation- electronic and hand-written
* You must be approachable and reflective with a passion for working with children and young people
* Good interpersonal, communication and active listening skills
* Commitment, resilience and tenacious professional attitude from the beginning through to resolution, making a positive difference
* Solution-focused approach
* Ability to use own initiative whilst also knowing when to seek advice and help. Manage own workload including own diary
* Willingness to undertake any further training and development
* Confidence & ability to manage difficult conversations and ensure conflict is kept to a minimum through joint working
