We are looking for a dynamic and experienced driver to escort and support our field based electricity meter engineers in central London.

You will join a well establish Metering Business based in the UK Midlands area. You will be based from your home address and will be either picked up by the most local engineer to you or alternatively asked to make your own way to a meeting point with the engineer. Any costs accrued for travel by will be reimbursed to you.
Your main duties will be to work with the electricity meter engineers on a daily basis in Central London - as such a good knowledge of the London road network and it's pit falls is a must! Whilst our electricity meter engineers are working in our customers properties, you will be required to look after the company vehicle and ensure that no parking tickets or fines are incurred by us. There may also be occasions when you will be needed on the customer's site to support our engineers and for this we will provide you with the necessary PPE/uniform and training

You will enjoy working mainly 5 days out of Monday to Saturday between 8am-17.00, although to meet the needs of our customers at times you may need to work outside of this as well as at weekends which will be paid on overtime where applicable. This is an agency based role, offering a good basic salary plus potential further career prospects.
You must be prepared to work in all weathers, and in sometimes difficult or dirty conditions as some metering equipment can be based in areas such as basements or outside. A reasonable level of physical fitness and manual dexterity is also required to undertake regular manual handling, again we will provide you with training for this.
