A unique opportunity has arisen for a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join the Corporate & Commercial team of a well-established multi-officed South London Law firm, looking for a highly enterprising, proficient and personable individual. You will need to be technically experienced in all aspects of Corporate & Commercial work and have the ability to explain complex matters. This role would be ideal for a senior associate looking to progress to the partner level.

You will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to clients, advising on a range of corporate and commercial matters including commercial agreements, intellectual property, GDPR and supply agreements. In addition to this, your input would be valued on large transactions, where you will work as part of a wider team, liaising with other corporate departments such as our commercial property and employment teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Interviewing clients to get instructions
• Advising clients in discussing plans and progress and keeping them fully informed about their matter
• Providing relevant documents
• Keeping client and matter files in good order and ensuring that all information is recorded thoroughly and accurately
• Dealing with clients' queries and problems promptly and efficiently, either face-to-face or on the telephone
• Complying with quality standards set and with departmental procedures, when handling all matters
• Supporting the growth of the department by being actively involved with business development
