Lots of people are still talking about the official launch of ‘Achieve 2014’, which took place yesterday at Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow!

‘Achieve 2014’ has been designed as a learning and development programme for promising young athletes, with the aim of preparing them for their participation in future major sporting events. Starting now and continuing throughout the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, the programme will give 126 aspiring athletes the opportunity to receive training and mentoring from experienced practitioners from across Scottish sport.

The launch event was lead by rugby legend Gavin Hastings, who was also joined by Search Managing Director Simone Lockhart and athletes Jade Nimmo, Georgina Black and Michael Bremner.
