Are you a skilled Site Engineer with experience in delivering civil engineering projects to a high standard? We are working with a respected principal contractor operating in the infrastructure and rail sectors who are looking to expand their on-site engineering team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of complex and rewarding projects, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of civil works within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set out and survey works in accordance with the design and specification.
* Ensure quality assurance and compliance with project requirements and relevant standards.
* Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
* Maintain site records, produce progress reports, and support project documentation.
* Liaise with project managers, designers, and external stakeholders to resolve engineering challenges.
* Support environmental, health, and safety objectives and company policies.
Requirements:
* Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Previous experience in a site engineering role within civil infrastructure.
* Proficient in setting out and surveying using relevant instruments (e.g., GPS, total station).
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety practices.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
