Role: Senior Practitioner
Location: Edinburgh
Service: Autism Support
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000
Reporting to the Services Manager, this role is to support practitioner teams to deliver high quality support to autistic individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
* To lead and develop both autism services and team practitioners to deliver the highest quality of support in line with Care Inspectorate and SSSC
* Ensure a supported care environment, meeting each individuals care needs and health and social care standards.
* Staff management - ensure staff are trained to be able to achieve short term and long term objectives, rotas, disciplinaries where necessary, identify areas for improvement and contribute in 1:1 meetings
* Provide on call support
* Financial management and budget monitoring
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Carry out audits
Requirements/Experience
* SVQ3 minimum in Health and Social Care (and/or willingness to work towards) Leadership and Management certificate
* A strong understanding and knowledge of autism
* Experience in management or a team leader role
* Rota management
* IT skills
