Job description
Through further growth my client are looking for a qualified Paralegal to work within our busy Residential Conveyancing team. The individual will require to take on their own case load working through files from end to end in each transaction.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing a caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from inception to completion.
* Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.
* Conduct property searches, including Land Registry and local authority searches, and summarise findings.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Handle pre-exchange and post-completion tasks, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files using case management software.
* Provide administrative support to senior fee earners as required.
