About this role

Are you an experienced Care Assistant or Support Worker based in Macclesfield or the surrounding areas?

Do you have a passion for helping vulnerable individuals lead more independent and fulfilling lives? If so, we'd love to hear from you!


We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated care professionals to support individuals with a range of needs including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those in secure mental health settings.

This is a highly flexible opportunity offering various shift patterns and locations, with a focus on placements in Macclesfield.


CANDIDATE CRITERIA

Minimum of 6 months UK-based experience in a similar care/support setting

Strong understanding of safeguarding practices

Comfortable with personal care, medication administration, and manual handling

Ability to provide a 2-year reference history

Overseas Police Check (if applicable)

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

Support service users in developing independent living skills

Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to uphold high standards of care

Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all residents and staff

Ensure individuals feel safe, valued, and supported

Administer correct medication in line with care plans



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns in line with company policies

Deliver personal care, assist with medication, support meal preparation, encourage exercise, and maintain cleanliness

Offer emotional and practical support to service users, including those with high levels of independence

Report concerns regarding service user wellbeing through proper channels


Act promptly in emergency situations, including contacting emergency services and following protocols

Accurately document daily activities and updates in care plans
