Job Title: Temporary Finance Manager (8-Week Contract)

About the Role:

Search are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join an organisation on a temporary basis for 8 weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who can quickly step into a leadership role and provide stability and support during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders as required.
• Supervise and support the finance team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is desirable
• Proven experience in a finance manager or similar role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAGE 50 and Microsoft Excel including V-Look Ups and Pivot tables
• Must have a small SME background
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
