An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at one of West Sussex's most unique and celebrated countryside destinations.

Working within a Michelin Green Star environment, this is an exceptional opportunity for a chef who is passionate about sustainability, seasonality, and genuinely farm-to-fork cooking. You'll have the chance to work with outstanding ingredients, many of which are grown, reared, or foraged directly from the surrounding estate.

Offering an excellent work-life balance, the restaurant predominantly operates during the daytime, with dinner service taking place only on Friday and Saturday evenings. The role is based on a 45-hour contract, worked across five 9-hour shifts per week.

The Restaurant

Set within a stunning rural estate in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, this award-winning restaurant champions a truly sustainable approach to cooking, celebrating the very best local produce through a seasonal and ever-evolving menu.

The kitchen operates with a strong farm-to-fork philosophy, placing provenance, sustainability, and creativity at the forefront of everything it does. The brigade is small, close-knit, and highly collaborative, providing an excellent environment for chefs looking to develop their skills whilst working with some of the finest ingredients available.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will:

* Manage your section to the highest standards of consistency, quality, and presentation
* Work with exceptional seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the estate and local producers
* Contribute ideas and creativity towards menu development
* Support the wider brigade in delivering an exceptional guest experience
* Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
* Continue developing your skills within a highly regarded Michelin Green Star kitchen

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
* Passion for seasonal cooking, sustainability, and ingredient-led cuisine
* Experience working with fresh, high-quality produce
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Calm, professional approach during service
* Genuine desire to learn, progress, and be part of a supportive kitchen culture

* £30,500 basic salary
* Additional gratuities worth approximately £7,000-£8,000 per annum
