Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: WF17, Batley

Salary: £12.71 per hour (starter rate)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and stock handling duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are stored, handled, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Working Hours

* 8:00 - 16:00

Monday to Friday

After 12 weeks, employees may move onto an annualised hours contract, which includes a requirement to work 7 Saturdays per year.

Key Responsibilities

* Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely
* Moving stock within the warehouse as required
* Conducting stock checks and inventory control activities
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Following all health and safety procedures and warehouse processes

Requirements

* Ability to work rotating shifts
* Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
