We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse & Logistics Apprentice to join a leading manufacturing company based in Livingston. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real hands-on experience while studying towards a professional qualification with the Institute of Supply Chain Management (IoSCM).
No previous warehouse experience is necessary - if you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and enjoy working as part of a team, we'll provide the training and support you need to build a successful long-term career in warehousing, logistics and supply chain operations.
What you'll be doing
As part of the Warehouse & Logistics team, you'll gain experience across a variety of operational areas, developing practical skills that are highly valued across the manufacturing industry.
You'll:
- Receive, check and safely store incoming goods and materials.
- Pick, pack and prepare products for dispatch to customers.
- Learn how to manage stock levels and carry out inventory checks.
- Help keep the warehouse organised, safe and running efficiently.
- Support the coordination of deliveries and collections with transport providers.
- Gain experience in shipping documentation, customs procedures and international logistics.
- Learn how warehouse management systems and logistics software support day-to-day operations.
