About the Company

We're working with a well-established and fast-growing company within the construction and groundworks sector, known for delivering high levels of service and fast, reliable logistics support to customers nationwide. With a strong reputation in the market, they operate a busy, fast-paced transport function supporting multiple depots and customers.

The Role

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where you'll play a key part in ensuring deliveries and collections run smoothly day-to-day. Supporting the Transport Manager, you'll coordinate routes, liaise with drivers and depots, and act as a central point of contact for delivery queries and problem resolution.

You'll be joining a collaborative team environment where no two days are the same, and where your organisational skills and ability to think on your feet will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating daily delivery routes across multiple depots
  • Acting as the main point of contact for drivers, handling queries and resolving issues
  • Managing delivery schedules and responding to ETA queries from customers
  • Liaising with depot managers, customer service and internal teams
  • Monitoring orders and ensuring accurate allocation to depots
  • Handling failed or delayed deliveries and re-planning where needed
  • Supporting agency driver administration, including timesheets and purchase orders
  • Using routing and planning systems to optimise delivery efficiency

About You

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys problem-solving.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in transport, logistics, planning, or coordination (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Good IT skills (Excel, Outlook, and general systems)
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude

What's on Offer

  • Salary between £35,000 - £42,000
  • Stable, full-time Monday-Friday role (no weekends)
  • Opportunity to develop within a growing logistics operation
  • Supportive and team-oriented working environment
