Residential Children's Support Worker - Agency Staff
Location: Various Locations Across Scotland
Pay: Competitive hourly rates + holiday pay
Shifts Available: Days, Waking Nights and Sleepovers
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to reach their full potential? We're looking for caring, resilient, and dedicated Residential Children's Support Workers to join our agency team, working across a range of residential childcare services.

As an Agency Residential Children's Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality, trauma-informed care within residential settings, ensuring children and young people feel safe, supported, and valued.
Your responsibilities may include:
Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
Supporting daily routines, education, and recreational activities
Promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, and independence
Encouraging positive behaviour using therapeutic and person-centred approaches
Supporting young people through challenging situations with patience and professionalism
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning
Working collaboratively with residential teams and other professionals
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times

Essential Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential, care, education, youth work, or support setting is preferred
Right to work in the UK
PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to join)
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), or willingness to register where required
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
