The Opportunity

Search Consultancy is looking for a reliable and thorough Site Cleaner to join our construction team on a project in Berwick-upon-Tweed. We are partnering with a leading contractor who recognises that a clean, organised site is essential for both productivity and health and safety.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Working on a well-managed site in the Berwick area, you will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards:

• Welfare Cleaning: Deep cleaning and sanitising communal areas, including the site canteen, drying rooms, and toilet facilities.

• Office Maintenance: Keeping site management offices and meeting rooms clean, tidy, and professional.

• Stock Control: Monitoring cleaning supplies and letting the Site Manager know when items need restocking.

• Safety & Hygiene: Following site safety rules, including the correct use and storage of cleaning materials and displaying proper warning signs (e.g., "wet floor").

• Waste Management: Emptying bins and ensuring rubbish is safely moved to the designated site skips.

What We're Looking For

• Reliability: Punctual, consistent, and able to maintain a regular cleaning schedule.

• Attention to Detail: High standards of cleanliness-ensuring surfaces are thoroughly sanitised and facilities are welcoming for the workforce.

• Experience: Previous experience cleaning in a commercial, industrial, or construction environment is highly desirable.

• Independence: Comfortable managing your daily routine and ensuring all facilities are covered.

• Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
