Customer Service Adviser

Skipton | £24,750 per annum | Permanent | Hybrid Working

We're recruiting for multiple Customer Service Adviser positions based in Skipton. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enjoy helping people, this could be a great opportunity to join a supportive team with excellent training and career progression.

Salary: £24,750 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Start Date: 24th August
Location: Skipton
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available after completing training

The Role

As a Customer Service Adviser, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, supporting them with a range of savings and investment enquiries over the phone.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Assisting with account queries, withdrawals, opening new accounts and ISA transfers.

  • Processing customer transactions and account updates.

  • Resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently.

  • Providing additional support to vulnerable customers when required.

  • Identifying customers' needs and recommending suitable products and services.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best customer experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous customer service experience, either over the phone, face-to-face or in another customer-focused role.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

  • A positive, caring and professional approach.

  • The ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment.

  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Training

Successful candidates must be available to start on 24th August and complete 2-3 weeks of full-time training at the Skipton office. Please ensure you have minimal holiday or other commitments during this period.
