We are a well-established demolition contractor delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality demolition, dismantling, and enabling works across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee multiple demolition projects from pre-start through to successful completion.

The Role:

As Contract Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of demolition projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple demolition contracts simultaneously.
• Plan, programme, and coordinate projects from mobilisation to completion.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Lead and support Site Managers, Supervisors, and project teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Prepare project programmes, progress reports, and contract documentation.
• Identify and manage project risks and implement effective solutions.
• Attend client meetings and site progress meetings.
• Ensure all works comply with current legislation and industry best practice.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager within the demolition industry.
• Strong knowledge of demolition methods, sequencing, and industry regulations.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS Black Card (Manager).
• Temporary Works Coordinator.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• First Aid at Work.
• Experience managing projects ranging from £100k to £10m+.
