Do you have Yard Supervisor experience and FLT experience? Do you live in the Doncaster area or within a commutable distance? We're helping a busy manufacturing company find a reliable and experienced Yard Supervisor to work at their Doncaster premises.
Reporting directly to the Regional Transport Manager, the Yard Supervisor will be the main point of contact for drivers on-site, coordinating loading and unloading and overseeing stock control. You will already be familiar with FLT jobs and have production operative experience. You must hold a valid counterbalance licence and have an excellent working knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Word and Outlook.
If you were already in this job, this is what you would have been doing today:
- Managing stock movements in and out of the depot
- Loading and unloading the wagon using the fork truck on site
- Checking delivery notes and customer tickets, and dealing with customers and the general public
- Engaged in lots of manual lifting (so physical fitness is a top requirement!)
The regular working hours will be Monday to Friday, and the salary for this role starts at £22,230.00 per annum and additionally includes a generous 33 holiday days per year (including bank holidays).
The Yard Supervisor will be the main point of contact for the company's drivers and the head office. Your other tasks will include - but certainly not be limited to - picking orders, processing off-hires and completing relevant paperwork, submitting it within the required time frame.
