Job Summary

  • Plan and manage a team of Warehouse Operatives on a daily basis to achieve daily workload
  • Ensure audit readiness is maintained in the Warehouse at all times, including compliance to all legislation appertaining to Health & Safety, Employment Law, Food Safety and company hygiene standards.
  • Make sure Team Leaders are briefed fully aware of what is required on a daily basis for their assigned area

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily tasks a team to ensure the Warehouse achieves against planned targets and all relevant KPI's
  • Manage and understand the WMS system
  • QIP - Making sure that the shift follow QIP guidelines and that daily paperwork complete.
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • To ensure all cases picked and loaded meet standards
  • To manage the work area to ensure clean and tidy at all times
  • To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • To achieve the targets and job standards set out by management
  • To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work

Profile and Technical Abilities

  • Innovative approach, forward thinking, able to think 'outside the box' and generate new opportunities for improvement
  • A team player and team builder
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to make good judgements and quick decisions
  • Previous experience of MS computer packages
  • Good performance management skills
  • Previous experience with conducting interviews
