I am thrilled to be exclusively partnering with an online retailer based in Manchester on their search for a Warehouse Manager.

The newly created Warehouse Manager will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the warehouse operation. You will be responsible for monitoring all goods coming into the warehouse through to dispatch to customers with a focus on lean techniques and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

Manage the warehouse operation from goods in to goods out
Lead a team across a fast paced site focusing on CI and customer service
Coach & Develop the shop-floor team.
Monitoring incoming shipments and working closely with the imports team to ensure a steady flow of goods.
Coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximising cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments.
Working closely with the operations team to ensure LEAN processes across the site.
Support the Implementation of processes and procedures to optimise stock holding.
Support the development and implementation of cost effective and integrated supply chain management solutions.
Ensure administrative policies and procedures are followed including accurate databases.
Support the successful implementation of new projects.
Ensure that successful operational performance is achieved, and any issues are dealt with to minimise the impact on service.
Work closely with the finance team to monitor costs and to reduce any excessive spend within the operation.

Key skills required for the role:
* Previous exposure to a fast paced warehouse operation, ideally within an ecommerce operation
* Strong HR skills
* Strong inter-personal skills and an effective communicator
* Experience working closely with other teams within the business
* Strong data analysis skills and experience working with WMS
* Financial reporting experience with exposure to cost analysis
* Strong organisation and planning skills

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday days, offering a salary of up to £40,000.
