My Client is in the UK wide express distribution service , they are looking for an experienced Transport Planner
Key Responsibilities
- Planning loads and reloads for fleet trailers
- Ensuring trucks are profitable and covering key client committed lanes
- Liaising with hauliers to ensure on time collections and deliveries
- Ensuring trucks are hitting KM targets per month
What Skills Are Required?
- Experience of planning jobs for drivers and/or transport agents and maximising their productivity, or at least some route planning experience.
- Excellent communication skills are essential as you will spend a large amount of time on the phone with suppliers.
