My client, a market leader in the European distribution industry, are seeking a PART-TIME Transport Co-ordinator for their site in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to propel their transport career with a industry renowned business whilst having the flexibility to work a on a part-time basis.

The Transport coordinator will provide administrative support on a daily basis to the Transport Manager and must ensure the operation complies with all legislation, rules and procedures ensuring all incidents and near misses are reported. You will seek improvement opportunities at all times and discuss these with management, any non compliances will need to be escalated to the Transport Manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Driver & vehicle resource management
* Administrating holiday requests, arranging overtime and booking agency resource
* Updating shift rotas
* Ensuring all timesheets are collected
* Raising purchase orders for agency drivers and circulating to HR
* Inventory management on location
* Upkeep of paperwork relation to Driver License, ADR certificates, Medicals, COC, PDP and DVLA mandates
* Ensure that all vehicle unit tachographs are downloaded every 4 weeks
* Undertake random tachograph check processes
* Ensuring customer defect feedback is displayed and up to date
* Arrange driver medicals, Drug & Alcohol tests
* Monitor duel efficiency data and report to the TM
* Booking accommodation/hire cars for managers/ drivers as necessary

This is a part-time position of 20 hours a week (4 hours a day) with an annual salary of up to £9600 (equivalent of a full time salary of £19,200).
