We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator to join a leading distribution company based in St Helens. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, motivated and hardworking Administrator to support a busy Transport department.

The job

  • Arranging re-deliveries for failed drops
  • Debriefing drivers
  • Updating the internal systems
  • Handling all customer queries
  • First point of contact for all drivers and any issues
  • Investigating customer complaints regarding undelivered goods
  • Issuing credit notes if required
  • Processing sales orders
  • Arranging pallet deliveries
  • Reporting all findings to the Management
  • Printing all documentation
  • Uploading pallet details to systems for customers to track
  • Ensuring all complaints are dealt with and monitoring the process
  • Running reports daily on the progression of deliveries
  • Ensuring all drivers are up to date with licences required
  • Monitoring defects

Experience needed

  • Previous Transport Administration experience
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Previous Pallet Network experience is highly desirable
