A great opportunity has arisen for a professional with health care training experience in the Glasgow area. We're helping a busy Hillington-based organisation find a qualified and experienced Training and Recruitment Officer to provide and deliver training and learning opportunities to an active and growing team of care workers.
This recruitment officer role comes with a salary of £22,000 p/a, along with some excellent company benefits.
Reporting to the business support manager, the Training Recruitment Officer will have responsibility for delivering the training needs of agency workers. You will also be managing the ongoing recruitment process to ensure sufficient regional recruitment activity to achieve safe and sustainable levels of workers to support workforce growth.
The primary responsibilities of this Training and Recruitment Officer role include:
- Consulting with care coordinators to identify core competencies, training and developmental needs
- Designing, expanding and delivering training programmes based on business needs
- Mentoring and coaching, including classroom, e-learning, workshop, simulation and on-the-job settings
- screening applicants, arranging and conducting interviews, and maintain the recruitment tracker
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience delivering training, along with at least one year's recruitment experience. You will need excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact and impress at all levels of the business, including senior management.
