Trainee Financial Adviser with a well established Wealth Management company in the Bristol area.

An overview of your role is below:

  • Support business needs and understand the structure of the business;
  • Identify ways to develop your knowledge of the Financial Services industry and keep up to date; e.g. attend industry seminars, workshops and briefings to continue building up knowledge of the theory and reinforce learning;
  • Build strong and effective working relationships with other teams in the firm and third-party product providers;
  • Achieve regulatory approval in accordance with FCA and company requirements, undertake and record appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities, and attain/maintain a Statement of Professional Standing;
  • Once approval granted, will undertake regulated activities (e.g. giving advice/opinion) under direct supervision for a period of at least six months;
  • Complete Adviser Sales Academy
  • Potentially take on proportionate commercial target;
  • Subject to minimum training period of 6 months from the date of regulatory approval, role holders are expected to pass formal assessment(s) to progress into an appropriate Adviser position, and work towards achieving Regulatory Competent Adviser Status (CAS).

  • A high standard of personal organisational and time management skills;
  • Ability to take control and drive your own development and study time;
  • The capability to explain complex information simply and clearly;
