Testing can be absolutely mental at times. So many different skillsets, interpretations and expectations. A Test Engineer in one company could be worlds away from what another person is looking for.

I've been working with a really interesting company for a number of months now. Edinburgh-based, huge growth plans & I've already helped a number of people land jobs with them. Their product offering is truly unique - they work with some absolutely massive companies - Spotify, Twitter, you name it. Most of the people I work with are probably sick of me harping on about how good they are.

As luck would have it, they're looking to hire multiple Test Engineers. What do I mean by that? Well, they're looking for people who are essentially Devs in Test. That's not to say they wouldn't take on a really good Tester mind you.

Key bits of tech/experience that you'll need to have are:

- Manual AND Automation experience
- Experience with the likes of Java, C#, Python - any back-end language (within reason) really
- Good exposure to the likes of React, JavaScript, HTML.
- UI experience - this is a biggie. It'll put you ahead of other people who are also applying for these roles
