Sales Territory manager - Clinical Diagnostics

This is a permanent opportunity paying a competitive salary plus car allowance and performance bonus

This is a home based role and will require covering south of England and West Midlands


  • Responsible for leading and developing the sales activities for public and private pathology sector
  • Development of strategic sales and marketing plans
  • Provide the necessary planning, organisation, direction, and control to meet and exceed the sales goals of the territory
  • Promote company's services and products throughout UK
  • Identification of areas of growth in UK market and develop strategy to convert in to sales
  • Build excellent relationships with targeted laboratories to become choice of partner for referred testing
  • Achieve sales targets with profitable results


  • Degree in Biology, chemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent
  • Proven experience within clinical diagnostic sales sector
  • Understanding of NHS and private sector pathology market
  • Knowledge in ISO 15189, NICE and GMP practices is desired
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability learns new skills and performs multiple tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team
