Telemarketing Team Leader

My client is a small to medium sized broker who is apart of the largest insurance network in the UK. Based in Neston this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team leader to join a business at an exciting time of growth. Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a team of Telemarketers who outbound leads with the goal of gaining an appointment for an Account executive to provide an insurance quotation
  • Coach, lead and develop team to drive and maximise performance
  • Call quality checks to ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Manage team performance & KPI targets
  • Responsible for data cleansing (TPS checks, Sourcing lead data base
  • Develop and sustain good relationships with Insurers and any other strategic partnerships
  • Act as the main referral point for technical advice and information
  • Identifying any knowledge and skills shortfall in your team members and arranging for the implementation of training to address these
  • Ensure your Team is kept up to date with the market trends, changes in underwriting, changes in products and any general procedure changes.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Previous Insurance / Broker / Financial services experience highly desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Past experience in a sales role: Telesales, Account Manager, Field Sales, Business Development, Retention's, Outbound Sales
  • Experience within working in a target driven environment (face to face or telephony based roles)
  • A willingness to want to pursue a career within sales
