Technical Support Chemist - Coatings / Inks / UV Curing

I am working in partnership with a global chemical company, who develop, manufacture and distribute raw materials in the UV curing industry. As a result of their ongoing strategic Research and Development programme, their product portfolio his continuously developing in response to market demands.

We are now looking for a Technical Support Chemist to join the business. In order to better understand market trends and provide the best technical support for its customers the business is expanding its technical support team. You will provide technical assistance on the UV curing product range to the sales team by email, phone, accompanying the sales team on customer visits and providing an internal technical consultation service on a daily basis.

Other duties will include:
* Communicating with customers directly to resolve technical issues.
* Developing technical relationships with the customer base to promote the business and develop new applications for UV curing technologies.
* Carry out laboratory-based applications testing to support the business requirements and customer requirements.
* Leading technical and commercial development projects with key customers and suppliers.

We are interested to speak to individuals who have a BSc or equivalent in Chemistry or a related subject, experience of UV curing technologies, coatings or ink formulation, 3D printing or composites will be highly desirable.
