My client based in Speke is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior who has experience in completing and reviewing limited company accounts. The role is based on a permanent full time basis and is offering a salary £27,000 - £34,000 per year. The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include -

• Liaising directly with clients, completing complex personal tax returns
• Attending client meetings
• Assisting with the wealth management department
• Providing clients with the current and future year tax planning
• Reviewing small/ medium limited company accounts
• Preparation of larger, complex limited company accounts
• Corporation tax returns
• VAT returns
• Managing a small team of tax assistants and semi-seniors

Required skills / experience / attitude.

• Minimum of 18 months experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
• Experience of completing a personal tax return.
• Sound understanding of a tax code.
• Exceptional personable skills.
• Highly ambitious.

Preferred skills / experience / attitude.

• Experienced in completing & reviewing limited company accounts.
• A genuine interest in progressing your accounting career.
