Are you a Supported Living Manager on the lookout for a new challenging and rewarding role? Our care facility Client is recruiting for a Supported Living Manager in Wandsworth, London. You'd be responsible for all aspects of operational management including managing a high-quality support service for 9 clients with a learning disability and/or autism, some of whom may have other needs including physical disabilities, behavioural challenges and mental health needs.
The Supported Living Manager role is a full-time one, but it's flexible, with 37.5 hours per week to include evenings and weekends, according to the needs of the service. Part-time hours would be considered subject to a minimum of 4 days per week. You will earn between £29,000 and £31,000.
Reporting to the Registered Service Manager, you will inspire, manage and supervise a team of committed care staff, ensuring that a caring, respectful personalised support is provided.
You will ensure the accommodation is managed to a high standard, in partnership with the housing provider, maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders and commissioners and provide a service in accordance with the individual's support plans, the service specification and Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.
? A relevant professional or practice related qualification (such as NVQ/H&SC Diploma level 4 or 5)
? At least one year's relevant experience of assisted living and supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions
? You will have excellent knowledge of Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities policies, confidentiality and data protection and the Care Act 2014.
You'll should also be familiar with Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, including immediate reporting of safeguarding concerns to the Council, the Registered Manager and the Duty/On Call Manager. You have a warm, inclusive and person-centred approach.
