Search Consultancy is currently looking for Support Workers to join our team in the Sunderland area. If you have experience working as a Support Worker in the UK, this flexible Sunderland-based role paying from £11.50 per hour could be for you.
COVID-19 has put extra pressure on all nursing services primarily in the NHS, so your help and support filling these currently open Support Worker vacancies are much appreciated.
The Support Worker role:
There are many roles available working within the community, or working within a Supported Living setting.
Experience in the field is not always required, your attitude and values are important.
In a flexible working position that pays between £11.50 and £13 per hour, you'll visit clients in their own homes and provide care and support that can include personal care as well as teaching daily living skills, such as budgeting, shopping and claiming benefits.
Among your Support Worker duties, you'll be required to:
* Work within a Supported Living environment or provide in-home care for vulnerable people across the City of Sunderland OR Your may want to opt for a Community Support Worker
* Keep records and charts (on feeding, exercise, etc.).
* Follow care plans and write reports
* Get to know clients and their interests and needs
Due to COVID-19 you'll only be expected and encouraged to return to your new office environment when it's deemed safe to do so. All interviews will be conducted online or on the phone. Your health and safety are of primary importance to Search Consultancy and the clients we represent.
