Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for your next role in South Tyneside? Our client is looking for a Care Worker to work nights in the South Tyneside region. Treating people with respect and dignity is a crucial element of this care worker role.
This position will be for 3 - 4 months and involves permanent nights on a rota basis.
The hours are 22:30 - 07:00 (approx. 26 hours per week). This temp Support Worker role comes with a rate of £15.30 per hour.
In this Support Worker job, you will deliver a high quality of care to a diverse range of people with care and support needs, adopting a person-centred approach with a focus on promoting independence and wellbeing. You will predominantly be attached to one establishment/team but will embrace flexible working across a range of establishments and teams, as required.
The ideal Support Worker will:
* Hold medication certificate to administer medication
* Have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
* Have Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to assist me in processing one for you
* Experience as a mental health support worker or clinical support worker would be ideal
