We have flexible Agency Support Worker roles on offer, paying £9 to £16 per hour and based in Aberdeenshire.
Essential details of the role:
In this valued role of Agency Support Worker, paying up to £16 per hour, you'll be required to carry out all aspects of personal care, including assisting with feeding, bathing, washing and dressing. You'll also carry out health checks and be efficient in all record-keeping on charts relating to feeding and activity etc. Having had previous experience in community services, you should be expert at following care plans and writing reports.
Other responsibilities include:
- Teaching daily living skills, such as budgeting, shopping and claiming benefits.
- Providing leisure and creative activities in a safe and supportive setting.
- Going out in the community with the service user to their local clubs or social events (cinema, bowling and eating out, etc.).
What you need to offer:
The most crucial thing is that you'll be committed to getting to know your clients and their interests and needs. You should have a minimum of six months' experience in the UK as support staff, in care jobs or as a Clinical Support Worker. A driving license would also be useful.
