We're seeking dedicated candidates to work full-time in the Edinburgh area. This rewarding role comes with competitive rates of pay and is ongoing until the end of November, four days a week Monday to Friday.
Do you have what it takes for this Mental Health Support Worker role?
Based in Edinburgh, you'll be willing to take on flexible working as a Clinical Support Worker, offering valuable experience from a variety of temp or perm positions in support jobs. You'll be happy to take a lead role within a team on a professional social care project, or likewise be comfortable working alone. You should have experience in a coaching or mentoring role and strong experience of risk assessment. You'll also have excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of relevant safeguarding around adult and child protection.
The role involves..
Provide support and assistance to people in accordance with their support plans
Undertaken initial and ongoing assessments of clients
Been a critical worker for people with complex or multiple needs
Devise, review and update support plans, record events and observations and keep appropriate records as required
You'll be able to demonstrate excellent aptitude as a support worker. You'll be comfortable preparing paperwork and participating in service user reviews and preparing and implementing risk-management plans and risk assessments.
