You'll engage individually and collectively with service users and encourage and facilitate choice, diversity and appropriate activities, all the while providing a high standard of personal care in accordance with individual care plans.
Support Worker Duties include:
. General housekeeping.
. Reporting concerns and incidents to senior staff.
. Liaising with service users, the care team and manager.
. Welcoming families and visitors.
. Maintaining individuals' confidentiality at all times.
You'll have experience as support staff, a clinical support worker, care coordinator or in social work. Happy to take on flexible working, you'll need to participate in training and undertake other tasks to assist in the smooth running of the home. You should also have experience of keeping accurate records and ensure all work complies with health and safety rules and procedures.
Skills and experience:
. NVQ Level 2 in care or a willingness to complete it.
. Preferably two years' experience of working with vulnerable adults.
