Search Healthcare are an established partner to charities, supported living and healthcare organisations and we assign great support workers into shifts and locations that suit the individual.

Daily Duties include:
* - Following Care Plans in order to provide person centred care
* - Handling and administering medication
* - Supporting individuals with finances to live as independently as possible
* - Helping individuals in the community
* - Providing practical and emotional support to vulnerable people
* - De-escalating challenging behaviour
* - Liaising with professionals and keeping up records etc.

An excellent Support Worker requires a compassionate, caring and motivated approach, as well as the ability to be flexible and professional. We are looking for support workers who can demonstrate:
* - Recent experience within a care or support setting
* - Ability to work in different environments across the Wakefield area
* - A flexible working approach that could include evening work and weekends
* - Willingness to complete mandatory training courses, provide references and complete a DBS check
