Search Consultancy is seeking experienced Support Workers to work on an agency basis to provide the highest quality of care and support to clients based in Aberdeenshire and the surrounding areas. As a member of the support staff, you will assist a variety of individuals, including adults with physical or learning disabilities, mental health issues, addiction issues or other emotional or social needs.
In return for your care coordinator skills, you will receive between £9 and £13 p/h, DOE.
If you were already in this agency Support Worker position, over the last week you would have:
Carried out all aspects of clients' care, assisting with feeding, bathing, washing and dressing
Carried out daily health checks
Helped clients with budgeting, shopping, leisure and socialising
Assisted clients in attending leisure and creative activity meetings
Recorded all clients' activities and progress on charts and written related reports
It takes an exceptional and dedicated person to be a Support Worker or care worker. It is physically and emotionally demanding, but the job satisfaction you receive makes a mental health support worker job very satisfying.
To apply for this clinical support worker role, you will need;
Six months' paid support and care experience, or equivalent community services experience
Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity
The ability to remain calm under pressure and cope with challenging behaviour
