Job Title: Support Desk Manager
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

As a Support Desk Manager Role you will be responsible for managing and leading a team to ensure the company is delivering excellent customer service across their support desk.

I am looking for a confident and engaging person with really good communication skills who can inspire a team and role their sleeves up and deliver as required. You will have responsibility for the team performance with a remit to support, develop and empower what is an established team who are fairly self-sufficient and strong in performance.

Responsibilities:

* Support the team to meet the company's SLA
* Identify and provide training to ensure team are able to effectively perform and provide excellent customer service
* Hold team meetings and engage employees with following best practice, sharing company strategies and policies
* Delegate responsibilities if and when needed
* Ensure all customer complaints have been dealt with and to the highest conclusion


You will demonstrable experience to a high level in the following key areas:

* Provide performance management and development of the team
* Deliver a customer focused approach while acting as an escalation point for the IT Support Desk
* PC Literate including the Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent written and verbal skills
